Hard to vet when you are not technical
A low quote can hide the real risk: unclear scope, missed handoff, fragile code, or a build that stalls right when it starts to matter.
A real, finished web or iPhone app for stay-at-home mums, creators, and female founders. No $30K agency. No freelancer who disappears at 60% done. No teaching yourself to code at 11pm.
App development — by a woman, for women.
No pitch deck required · 15 minutes · Zero obligation

Hi, I'm Kat.
Engineer, founder, and creator. Your developer for the next three weeks.
The real problem
Most founders do not need more motivation. They need a calm, honest answer to one question: what is the smallest real app that proves this business can work?
Freelancer
A low quote can hide the real risk: unclear scope, missed handoff, fragile code, or a build that stalls right when it starts to matter.
Agency
Strategy calls, project managers, and big discovery phases can be useful later. For version one, they often turn a simple MVP into a $30K decision.
DIY or AI tools
AI builders and tutorials can help you explore the idea. They are less forgiving when real users, payments, privacy, mobile behavior, and ownership enter the room.
Build with Kat is the middle path: one senior builder, one fixed scope, one launchable product, and the code handed to you at the end.
How it works
Book a free 15-minute call. No pitch deck, no tech jargon. Just tell me what you want to build and who it's for.
Within 48 hours, you get a fixed price and a simple one-page plan. If it's too big for three weeks, I'll say so — and we'll split it into a launch and a v2.
Three weeks of focused work. You get a private link to watch it come together, and updates every few days so nothing feels like a mystery. Day 21, you're live.
What you can build
A members-only chat, weekly live sessions, resources just for them.
For creators tired of giving it all away on Substack and Instagram.
Lessons, payments, progress tracking — all on your own website.
For coaches, ex-bankers, and teachers running a 4-week programme.
One painful problem, solved well, billed monthly. You own the product and the recurring revenue.
For ex-operators who keep saying “I wish this existed” and want to ship it.
A focused little app your community will open daily.
Cycle tracker, sleep log, mum planner, postpartum companion — your idea.
What you actually get
Real, finished, and ready for paying customers from day one — on your own website, or live on the App Store.
Clean, modern, beautifully designed. Looks like you spent ten times what you actually did.
Made with the same kind of technology behind Instagram, Notion, and the apps you open every day. Solid, fast, and ready to grow with you.
The code, the design files, the keys to everything — all yours from day one. No subscriptions to me. No vendor holding it hostage.
Founding client pricing
I'm taking a small number of builds each month at founding-client rates while I grow the portfolio. Pay half to start, half on launch. Nothing leaves your account until we've agreed exactly what you're getting.
A modern web app on your own domain. All yours.

Why I built this
I'm a founder, developer, and creator. I started out in consulting and investment banking, jumped into tech, then left to build my own companies — and I've spent the years since growing them. Along the way, the same kind of message kept landing in my inbox: a brilliant woman, a real audience, a clear idea — and no way to turn it into a real product without spending six figures and six months.
Mums working between school runs. Ex-consultants with a course already written in their head. Creators sitting on a community they could be charging for. None of them needed a co-founder. They needed someone to actually build the thing — properly, on time, on a price they could plan around — and hand them the keys.
Built with: Next.js · Expo · Tailwind · Supabase · Stripe · Vercel.
Why founders trust the process
Until there are public client stories worth naming, the promise is simple: no fake proof, no mystery process, no app trapped in someone else's accounts.
The first call is not a sales performance. It is a fit check: what can ship, what should wait, and whether a 3-week build is the right route.
The repository, hosting setup, payment account, domain, and App Store account live with you wherever possible, so another developer can help later.
You get direct communication with the person building the app, regular screen-level updates, and a handoff that explains what was built.
